Privacy Notice
Effective 16 July 2026 · Development preview
1. Scope and contact
This notice explains how MultiGrid handles personal information through multigrid.ai, support communications, the local application, and any optional hosted service that identifies this notice. For privacy questions or requests, email privacy@multigrid.ai. Formal business identity and postal contact details will be published before commercial launch.
2. Local application data
The desktop application is designed to store conversations, routes, analytics, agents, memory, tasks and execution records locally. Provider credentials are intended for operating-system credential storage. MultiGrid does not receive local application data merely because you use the local application.
3. Model providers and MCP servers
When you choose a cloud model, your prompt, attachments and relevant context are transmitted to that provider. When you connect an MCP server, tool inputs are transmitted to that server. These third parties process data under their own notices and terms. Local-first operation does not make third-party processing local.
4. Website and support information
Static hosting providers may process ordinary request data such as IP address, user agent, requested page and timestamp for security and delivery. The current site does not intentionally set advertising cookies or embed behavioral analytics. If you contact support, we process your contact details, message and diagnostics to answer and secure the service.
5. Optional hosted services
Hosted accounts and live payments are not yet publicly available. If enabled, MultiGrid may process account identifiers, email delivery records, password verifiers, one-time verification and reset-token hashes, session and application-key hashes, balance and billing records, purchase and payment-provider identifiers, paid amount and currency, request usage, abuse-prevention signals, and the inference content needed to provide the requested model service. MultiGrid does not receive full card details from Stripe Checkout. Transactional account email is delivered through an email infrastructure provider. Upstream model-provider credentials are not issued to end users.
6. Purposes and legal bases
Where the GDPR applies, processing may be necessary to perform a contract or take requested pre-contract steps, comply with law, and pursue legitimate interests such as service security, support and improvement. Consent will be requested where legally required, such as for optional marketing.
7. Retention
Local data remains until you delete it or uninstall and remove application data. Support messages are retained only as long as reasonably needed to resolve the request, maintain security records and meet legal obligations. Verification links expire after 24 hours and password-reset links after 30 minutes; their hashed records may remain temporarily for security auditing. Purchase, ledger, payment and tax records may need to be retained for legal, accounting, fraud and dispute obligations. Specific hosted retention periods will be published before launch.
8. Sharing and international transfers
Information may be shared with hosting, infrastructure, email, payment—including Stripe—fraud-prevention and model providers only as needed for their role, or when required by law. Provider selection may cause international transfers. Applicable safeguards and a complete processor list will be documented before hosted commercial launch.
9. Your choices and rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a copy of personal information, and to complain to a data protection authority. Contact us to exercise a right. We may need to verify your request.
10. Security and children
We use technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to the service stage, but no system is completely secure. MultiGrid is not directed to children under 16, and hosted registration will not knowingly accept them without a valid legal basis.
11. Changes
We may update this notice as the product develops. Material changes will receive a new effective date and, where appropriate, additional notice.
